I&#8217;ve seen many <a href=\"https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/the-best-waterfalls-asia\/\"><strong>waterfalls around Asia<\/strong><\/a> but this is one of my favorite ones!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for <a href=\"https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/things-to-do-bohol-travel-guide\/\"><strong>off-the-beaten-path destinations in Bohol<\/strong><\/a>, add this waterfall to your itinerary. In this guide, you&#8217;ll find tons of useful information about the Twin Falls of Dimiao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2>1. I will list them down below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>bring water and food with you<\/strong> &#8211; the temperatures in the Philippines can be a bit extreme and the last thing you want is to be thirsty or hungry in the middle of the jungle. Bring some water and snacks with you! At the beginning of the trail to the waterfall, there is a small stall where you can find refreshments and snacks. Also, don&#8217;t forget to take your trash with you!&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>the phone signal might be weak<\/strong> &#8211; if you&#8217;re waiting for an important call or email, it&#8217;s better to postpone your trip to Dimiao Waterfall.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>bring your swimming suit with you<\/strong> &#8211; swimming is allowed at the base of the waterfalls. Keep in mind that there are no changing rooms here.<\/li><li><strong>there is a toilet<\/strong> &#8211; but trust me, you don&#8217;t want to use it.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important info!<\/strong> &#8211; Getting to the waterfall requires walking on a rocky trail and climbing down several stairs. About Dimiao Twin Falls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The thing that I loved the most about this waterfall was that there were only a couple of tourists there. Even though the place is pretty famous among the locals, the tourists seem to ignore this waterfall which is fine by me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No time to read now? Dimiao Twin Falls was one of my favorite places on Bohol, together with <a href=\"https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/bilar-loboc-man-made-mahogany-forest-bohol\/\"><strong>Bilar Man-Made Forest<\/strong><\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/bamboo-hanging-bridge-bohol-what-you-need-to-know\/\"><strong>Twin Hanging Bridge<\/strong><\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.klook.com\/activity\/5608-countryside-tour-bohol?aid=8265\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Chocolate Hills<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, why you&#8217;re in Bohol you have to take an <a href=\"https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/island-hopping-bohol\/\"><strong>island hopping tour<\/strong><\/a>. The water is beautifully flowing down over limestone rocks, making its way to the large pool formed at the base of the waterfalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pool is perfect for swimming and cliff jumping. I saw a few locals climbing to the top of the biggest waterfall and happily jumping into the water. I&#8217;m not a big fan of extreme sports and even though the jump was only about 4-meters tall I didn&#8217;t have the courage to do it. I have to warn you &#8211; the water is pretty cold. Keep in mind that you won&#8217;t find any changing rooms at Dimiao Twin Falls, Bohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While at the waterfall, don&#8217;t forget to explore the surrounding areas. Entrance fee and opening hours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The entrance fee to Dimiao Twin Falls is 20 pesos for foreigners, 10 pesos for locals and 5 pesos for children. How to get to Dimiao Twin Falls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To get to Bohol or Pangalao you&#8217;ll have to take the ferry from Cebu, Dumaguete or Siquijor. I&#8217;ll link the ferries below and you can check out the prices and schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Cebu to Bohol &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.klook.com\/activity\/5871-cebu-bohol-oceanJet-ferry-ticket-bohol?aid=8265\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">click here<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Siquijor to Bohol &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.klook.com\/activity\/5912-bohol-siquijor-oceanJet-ferry-ticket-bohol?aid=8265\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">click here<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Dumaguete to Bohol &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.klook.com\/activity\/5906-bohol-dumaguete-oceanJet-ferry-ticket-bohol?aid=8265\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">click here<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re staying on Panglao, the trip to Dimiao Twin Falls will take about one and a half hours (60 kilometers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/destinations\/the-philippines\/\" data-imagelightbox=\"g\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"950\" height=\"160\" src=\"https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/more-about-philippines-small-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11048 custom_danmo_rounded_corners nopin\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/more-about-philippines-small-1.jpg 950w, https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/more-about-philippines-small-1-300x51.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/more-about-philippines-small-1-800x135.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The only option you have to get to the waterfall is to rent a motorbike. The cost to rent a motorbike for one day is 350 pesos. I recommend visiting some other tourist attractions on Bohol on the same day such as <a href=\"https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/bilar-loboc-man-made-mahogany-forest-bohol\/\"><strong>Bilar Man Made Forest<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.klook.com\/activity\/26536-loboc-river-cruise-bohol?aid=8265\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Loboc River Cruise<\/strong><\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailytravelpill.com\/bamboo-hanging-bridge-bohol-what-you-need-to-know\/\"><strong>Twin Hanging Bridge<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don&#8217;t know how to drive a motorbike, the only option you have is to rent a motorbike with a driver or a car. We passed by some beautiful local homes, hidden between palm trees.
